Uzbekistan has launched a new state program aimed at supporting and developing small and medium-sized businesses

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a bill on the early implementation of the State program "Year of a small business and entrepreneurship." It should be noted that the preparation of this project aimed at developing the state's economy, a specially collected by the Commission in the Republic. The head of the Republican Commission is the Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev. As for the state program, then it is based provides for the establishment in all regions of the mills as a favorable business environment, namely the implementation of specific activities that contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises in the territory of Uzbekistan. Promotion of MB towards a free market economy, liberalization of the sector, the unlimited freedom of enterprise, reduction of government administrative functions and various licensing norms, the removal of bureaucratic barriers and obstacles in the way of small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, during the implementation of state programs in Uzbekistan will be introduced market-based instruments and mechanisms that will ensure greater access of small businesses to credit and financial resources and raw materials to develop and strengthen their cooperative ties with companies, suppliers and buyers access to government contracts for they produce. This bill will also reduce the interference of government and regulatory authorities in the financial and economic activities of small and medium-sized businesses. The project is planned to increase the number of attracted investments to the national small business. As well as preferential loans and SME direct investment, aimed at small business development.
