The share of online shoppers in this age sample is the same as in other segments - 22% of total respondents. The only difference - a higher percentage of consumers who prefer to order by phone (13% vs. 7%). As the authors of the study, among people 50 + already has a significant number of quite wealthy people who have achieved this both individually and through their affluent children. Such goods and services such as travel, luxury alcohol, delicacies, food for pets, not to mention the medications will be needed in the elderly even more so than young people. Such a conclusion is based on an analysis of online audiences Runet based on 19 waves of the project "Online Monitor". The survey was conducted in March-April 2011. Were interviewed more than 35,5 thousand inhabitants of Russia, of whom 3,672 - persons aged 50 and older.
