Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin discussed with the PSC key issues for the development of this sector in 2011

In the 20 days of this month, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with representatives of small and medium-sized country. Thus, managers of many small businesses, among them the "Business Russia", and "Support of Russia, and the Association of Peasants (farmers) and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia on Dec. 24 discussed with Prime Minister a number of issues with regards to small business development in the country. Among the most pressing issues concerning the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country in 2011, questions were raised by the changes in the insurance and tax payments from the MB, as well as on the transition to the patent system to regulate natural monopolies' tariffs and market access even the most "small" producers. Putin also raised the issue in respect of land relations of small businesses and measures of federal oversight and quality control of products manufactured by small and medium-sized businesses. Among the participants are the following officials: Vice-Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov and Vice Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana Golikova, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina, representatives ministries and departments.
