Online store Overstock.com "cured" of reoptimization

E-commerce project, some time ago, "sagging" in the search results Google, came out of the Penalty Box. Few months "disgrace", which was subjected to a web resource, were caused by marketing policies of Internet merchant: Overstock.com offer discounts to students and faculty, post links to the pages of an online store on the sites of their institutions. It is believed that the links from the sites of U.S. colleges and universities (with domain addresses in the area. EDU) are highly valued by the search engine Google. Thus, the actions of the online store can be seen as an attempt to manipulate search results. According to representatives of Overstock.com, a discount program was completed on February 10, 2011, before receiving a warning from Google, but some schools delayed the process of removing links. Now, after a formal declaration of withdrawal from the Penalty Box, online-shop staff say about the additional site improvements for better compliance with the requirements of the search engine.
