State Duma rejected the first reading of draft law on electronic commerce. " Officially, the main reason for such a solution - no need for such laws. The approval of the bill can hardly be expected, since the State Duma Committee on Information Policy has issued a negative opinion on him. Among other things, it states that the matters addressed in the bill are already regulated by force of law "On electronic digital signature" and a number of other laws, including the Civil and Arbitration Procedure Code. According to committee members, the development of legal framework on electronic commerce should be done by improving existing ones, rather than making new laws.
