83% of Russians would give Christmas presents

Poll 3,7 thousand economically active consumers of the Russian Research Center Portal Superjob noted the increase in the proportion of Russians who are interested in buying gifts for New Year - 87% instead of 80% last year. In this case, the majority - 40% - plan to spend on buying Pre-order 1,5-5 thousand. While 28% of respondents are willing to allocate for gifts ranging from 500 to 1.5 thousand rubles, 18% of respondents assessed their costs in 5-10% of rubles. The maximum budget for the purchase of gifts of Christmas - more than 10 thousand - have noted, only 6% of respondents. First of all, the Russians will bestow relatives (91%). Its second half will be pleased with a gift 59% of respondents, and friends - 47%. About 18% of respondents intend to donate something to colleagues, and 4% - "everyone who will be next in the New Year holidays" or "just so". One in five donors (19%) spend more on gifts than last year, and 28% of Russians, by contrast, will save. More than half - 53% of the population - fall within the same amount as a year ago.
