62% of Russians do not use the Internet

Poll 1,6 thousand Russian citizens over 18 years of age living in 130 locations across the country, analysts Levada Center found that 62% of respondents did not use the Internet. Last year, in the March report VTsIOM, cited similar statistics - in Russia there were 60% of Russians are not involved in RuNet. Most often, the Russian Internet users go online to find the right information (27%). Another 18% of users use the Internet to communicate, to 13% - to find and play music / video / entertainment. Only 6% of consumers go online to purchase any goods or services.
