Russia's largest insurance company Rosgosstrakh soon going to buy a pension fund (NPF), has learned from the words of managing director of the insurer Alexander Bondarenko. Rosgosstrakh expected to occupy a niche in the market of pension insurance in 2008, but due to financial crisis, this plan was never realized, and this year it is a priority for the company. At this point the insurance company is considering the purchase of one of five NPF. In addition, one of the priorities of the company is selling through a network of Rosgosstrakh products existing NPF. To date, the number of agents network of insurance companies that sell life insurance policies, more than four thousand people, and by the end of 2010 is planned to increase their staff to ten thousand. With regard to the amount of pension insurance market, the January 1, compulsory pension insurance is close to the mark of a trillion rubles. Almost 75 billion rubles were concentrated in the NPF and about 15 billion rubles - in private management companies. The basic part of pension savings - more than 700 billion rubles - is under the control of Vnesheconombank. The insurance company Rosgosstrakh is the successor to the Soviet state insurance. Stocks Rosgosstrakh controlled by the state only in the amount of 25% plus four shares. The rest of the shares in the hands of the company president Daniel Khachaturova.
