In Russia, small business Volgograd region ranked second

One of autonomous non-profit organizations, namely the National Institute for System Studies of entrepreneurship in the regional division held rating of small and medium-sized businesses. Novosibirsk region in 2008, won first place ranking in terms of small business development in all regions of Russia. Second place in the ranking deservedly won the Volgograd region. Micro-enterprises, ie those enterprises where the number of employees was less than 15 people, were not included in the list of participating organizations in the ranking. The following indicators were taken into account in constructing the rankings of small and medium-sized enterprises: the number of enterprises per 100 thousand population, labor productivity in small enterprises, the number of people employed in small enterprises in relation to the total number of employed people in the region, the average amount of investments in major capital every small business. According to the rating conducted by the nonprofit organization in the Republic of Ingushetia were the worst figures for the development of small and medium businesses. Following among the worst, but with a slightly better performance compared with Ingushetia, is the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. Also, this list is replenished Kalmykia Republic, the Chechen Republic and Trans-Baikal Territory.
