Facebook wants to work with the Russians

Largest social network in the world, uniting more than 400 million active users, is preparing for the arrival in Russia. Facebook representatives have been negotiating with local partners and are going to hire a regional manager. It seems that in the near future in the social network will be more Russian-speaking users. The fact of negotiations with Facebook was confirmed by representatives of the federal mobile operators (MTS, MegaFon, VimpelCom). According to the newspaper Vedomosti, mobile operators see the opportunity to work with Facebook as a launch joint services, payment of content via premium SMS or preferential tariff traffic sotsseti when accessed from mobile devices. It is worth noting that the Russian Internet marketers have been using Facebook for business purposes, creating a formal group and collecting orders a social network. But such examples are few - if in the U.S. Facebook (though, like Twitter) for several years included in the list of most popular instruments of "social" Internet marketing (and gives retailers a lot of money), the Russian companies to interact with online users more likely to use "In Touch" (sometimes - along with social networking "Odnoklassniki.ru).
