NISIPP summarized the development of small business in Russia in 2010

Despite the fact that in 2010 the number of small businesses in Russia declined in almost every case increased production volume. About this recently told representatives of the National Institute for System Studies Enterprise (NISIPP). If we believe the report data from survey conducted by analysts NISIPP, the small business turnover last year rose by 16 percent. With regard to the number of SMEs, it really fell nearly 4%. A total of 2010 in Russia there are more than 219,000 small businesses and individual enterprises. Naturally, with a decrease in the number of small businesses in Russia decreased and the number of employed in enterprises of this category of citizens. A total decrease in the number employed in the membranes of citizens in Russia amounted to about 3%. Despite such sad quantitative indicators, turnover of small Russian businesses in 2010, significantly multiply. Compared with 2009, the turnover of small businesses in 2010 showed an increase of 16,7%. If the fate of that 4% of the GMS are gone, then it is a significant indicator of growth in the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The most active growth was recorded for small businesses of the Far Eastern region of Russia (19%), while the smallest increase - the business of North-West District (3.9%).
