For purchases in RuNet will be spent 245 billion rubles

According to the forecast FOM, in 2011 the growth of online B2C retail amount to only 17%, turnover of the segment will reach 245 billion rubles. Audience share Runet involved in online shopping has grown by 33% - up to 12 million people. But only 6 million Russian citizens - active customers online shopping, shop in the last month. According to the results of the second wave of research, "e-commerce market in Russia", conducted with the participation of the online superstore OZON.ru, the volume of Internet sales in Russia in March 2011 amounted to approximately 18 billion rubles, the value of the average monthly spending on online shopping - about 2,7 thousand rubles. It is worth noting that during the study, the only retail online sales of physical (material) goods, including sale of tickets for transportation and activities. The most popular categories of goods (by the number of online shoppers) are as follows: Clothing and footwear (23%), books (18%), household appliances (17%), cosmetics and fragrances (13%). In terms of sales in monetary terms in the lead (as of March 2011): Household appliances (about 4.3 billion), clothing and footwear (nearly 3.1 billion), transport tickets (about 2.5 billion . rubles).
